SuperJScroll is an award winning Java 1.1 applet that allows you to
place vertically scrolling text, images, and animations on a web page.
Creating a SuperJScroll display is similar to creating an HTML page:
tags are used to define fonts, colors, and styles for text,
and additional tags are available to create anchors and
to insert images and animations into the scrolling display.
Active TokensTM allow you to create
dynamic displays, and an automatic update feature allows the display
to be refreshed whenever data changes.
SuperJScroll works well with Microsoft's Active Server Pages (ASP) and
similar technologies. This allows database information to be
inserted into the display, and also enables dynamic configuration
of the applet.
Also available for SuperJScroll is a
free Plasma plug-in that adds
additional features to the applet.
The applet's comprehensive documentation includes a 750 page PDF
manual, a "Quick Reference" guide, and 30 fully functional examples.
To design color schemes for SuperJScroll displays, we recommend that you
look at
Color Wheel Pro.
Color Wheel Pro is a program
that allows you to create color schemes and preview them on real-world examples.
